About Our Lindon Community
You can learn lots about the wonderful Lindon community through three very good
websites. The city website has
good information about the town, activities, and it's history.
The other website from
city data.com gives lots of very information concerning: population, education
of population, ancestory of the Lindon people, rainfall, snowfall, temperatures
during the seasons, house costs, incomes of residents, etc.

About Our School

- Lindon Elementary's Parents are extremely supportive of our school. They attend in large numbers to Back to School Night, parent conferences (SEP's), school plays, and other school activities. They contribute greatly to school fund raisers, and other school needs. We have a very good P.T.A.!
- Lindon Teachers attend lots of inservice classes to improve their instruction.

- Lindon Elementary's Principal, Mr. Theler is a fantastic leader well received by his staff, children, and Lindon parents. He is concerned about helping the students learn, have fun, and becoming their best as a citizen. His methods has brought him many recognitions from the Alpine District and community.
- We are a Centennial School 1995 - 2000. This award is no longer used currently.
- Lindon uses the Student Education Plan conferences.
- Lindon has a computer lab with imac computers. Many of the teachers have more than two computers in their room. Every teacher has a laptop computer for personal use, along with internet access, and email. The building is networked with ethernet cabling and we are part of the district wide area network.
- Our school is moving to wireless connections for I-Book Mobile Karts to move from one classroom to another throughout each day. These mobile karts will give students opportunities to use the computers more and learn how to use technology to enhance their learning processes.
- Our school currently has about five hundred and thirty students.
